With the latest update to Altruist you can now specify fixed options that the donor can select for the reference.
This is particularly useful if you want to be able to further sort donations into categories e.g. if you are selling clothes for a chartiable cause then you could use the fixed reference option to specify sizes (XS, SM, MD, LG, XL etc.).
The reference option “Standard” will display a normal text input which the donor can use to enter anything whereas the “Fixed” reference option allows you to specify set options for the donor to select from a dropdown menuOptions can be added a removed extremely easily, just fill the box and hit the plus sign or click the cross to remove a fixed optionThen the donor will be able to select an option from the list of options that you’ve specified when they’re donating
